1.) HCV Officer

Responsibilities
Reporting to the CSR Department. Plantation Head and General, Manager the candidate will be responsible for the management. monitoring and enhancement of all High Conservation Areas(HCVs) in oil palm plantations in Nigeria, The candidate will provide support in the conservation and enhancement of biodiversity in these areas

Key Duties

• HCV management and field monitoring for HCV areas for all of Nigerian operations
• Internal field auditing for RSPO compliance for HCV related matters,
• Supervision and co-ordination of all operation staff and workers under his/her charge,
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate and work effectively with other departments in plantation and stakeholders

Required Qualifications and Skills

• A degree in biological sciences or related relevant degree
• Field and biodiversity surveys experience
• Ability to work independently,
• Excellent communication and people skills,

• Work in partnership with the business to provide specialist coaching, support and influence that enable key units/regions in the company to effectively deliver their people plans. • Provide project management support and HR expertise to the business with specific related projects

• Outside of the people plans, identify strategic people issues in partnership with key clients and support them with advice and expertise to resolve these matters. Contribute to the delivery of business area Key Performance Indicators.

• Provide personal support on the research, design and development of HR initiatives in support of the HR strategy, using expert knowledge of the client area. Facilitate the creation of an implementation and communication plan into the local business area that achieves the agreed deliverables.
